**Johnson City-Kingsport, TN (Hybrid)**

Our client, an industry-leading manufacturer, is hiring a **Project Engineer** to lead new product development projects focused on burners and combustion systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Serve as a subject matter expert on combustion systems for gas burners.

+ Lead New Product Development, focusing on combustion systems, ensuring they perform efficiently and safely.

+ Ensure compliance to applicable codes, regulations, standards and specifications

+ Review designs, materials, and final outputs.

+ Support and guide the design team, providing expertise in combustion system design.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally to determine project plans, goals and limits.

+ Develop and oversee testing protocols to ensure performance and compliance.

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

+ Proven experience in the design and analysis of combustion systems, preferably in gas appliance development.

+ Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles.

+ Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ANSI, CSA, or similar codes).

+ Proficiency in CAD software and computational tools for modeling and simulation.

**Pay Details:** $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
