**Job Title: Pipelayer**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled pipelayer with over 2 years of experience in laying pipes for sanitation and storm sewers, water mains, and drains. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills. A strong knowledge of construction safety practices is essential.

**Responsibilities**

+ Lay pipes for sanitation, storm sewers, water mains, and drains.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.

+ Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects.

+ Ensure adherence to construction safety practices at all times.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2+ years of experience in pipe laying.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

+ Knowledge of construction safety practices.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with construction, dirt work, grading, and manual labor.

+ Skills in excavation, civil construction, and storm drain management.

+ Proficiency in operating heavy equipment like backhoes.

+ Knowledge of concrete finishing, concrete form, and concrete pours.

+ Understanding of drainage, utility construction, and underground utilities.

+ Experience with wastewater and stormwater management.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnson City, Tennessee.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
