You'll experience meaningful, high-impact work by providing nursing services, training, and support for individuals with brain injuries, intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, and/or emotional or behavioral challenges.
**What You'll Do**
+ Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services are delivered.
+ Administer medications and document care while overseeing staff administering medications.
+ Provide prescribed medical treatments per physician's orders along with personal care services.
+ Conduct assessments, implement health care services within Individual Service Plans (ISP), and respond to changes in condition.
+ Train staff on universal precautions, infection control, and medication administration.
+ Serve as liaison and advocate with medical and professional service providers, ensuring consistent care.
+ Educate individuals on topics such as self-medication, prescribed treatments, and health prevention.
**Qualifications**
+ Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field, or state certificate
+ One year of experience serving this population in a nursing capacity
+ Current state LPN or LVN license for state of residence
+ Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
+ Additional certifications as required (CPR/FA, HIV/AIDS, BBP, ACT training)
+ Strong communication skills with staff, individuals served, and families
