Line Servicer

Job Purpose Statement 

Maintains supply of products and packaging materials for packaging lines.

Main Accountabilities

• Verify the proper components, and quantities of those components, have been staged to meet the needs of producing the batch.
• Communicate any discrepancies in order to minimize the possibility of downtime.
• Maintains adequate supply of packaging components throughout the packaging operation.
• Maintains production time records for each packaging line.
• Verify the appropriate and legible shipper label is on the shipper.
• Verify the appropriate stacking pattern is being used on the pallet.
• Moves completed skids or containers of completed stock to designated areas using either pallet jack or industrial lift truck.
• Ensures each pallet of completed production is shrink wrapped.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assists packaging department in other assigned duties.
• Use Ross system.

Job Related Qualification/Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
• Good math skills.
• Knowledge and experience working in a production team environment.
• Highly motivated, conscientious, self-managed team player.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast paced-environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer skills highly desirable
