POSITION TITLE: PLANT PRODUCTION MANAGER
DEPARTMENT: PRODUCTION
REPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT of FINANCE/COO
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Plan, direct, or coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing aluminum products in accordance with safety, cost, quality, and quantity specifications. Must have emphasis on production that meets customer specifications while minimizing cost and maximizing recovery while developing and implementing a production plan that utilizes effective time and materials to provide a quality product to be shipped as scheduled.

Education and/or Experience
Minimum 10 years’ experience in production management
Bachelor’s degree preferred and applicable experience in related field a must.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Responsible for understanding, comprehending and implementing company procedures.
