Staff Accountant II

Salary:                  $70k-$80k

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support the annual audit process
• Make traditional accounting entries to the General Ledger
• Analyze financial data and create reports as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes
• Participate in the development of accounting policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Required
• 3-5 years staff accounting experience in a Corporate Environment required.
• Multi-state experience required
• Demonstrated experience in the food and beverage industry desirable. 
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications required.  (Acumatica/UKG desired)
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team required

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to operate a computer, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a fun and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
