Shop Foreman

  · Must be a self-starter, self-managed and willing to self-improve management skills and the skills of others while improving efficiencies and promoting a positive and collaborative work environment

· Delegate work assignments to technicians based on their skills and expertise 

· Oversee all manufacturer warranty work in compliance with manufacturer guidelines, warranty policies and ensure proper documentation is maintained

· Inspect technician work to ensure repairs are completed correctly and timely to minimize customer wait times reviewing technician notes, parts usage, and labor hours for accuracy

· Develop and implement training programs and continuous education on new technologies, repair procedures and safety protocols

· Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment conducting regular safety meetings and inspections 

· Monitor technician performance and productivity, addressing issues promptly and providing corrective actions

· Engage in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of technicians in conjunction with the Service Manager and HR

· Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and in a timely manner, escalating issues to the Service Manager as necessary with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and customer retention

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
 

· Oversee and maintain shop equipment, tools, and facilities for optimal working order and safety

· Provide management with shop performance metrics, including productivity, efficiency, and profitability

· Optimize labor utilization, reducing waste and controlling expenses by working with the Service Manager to increase revenue and reduce operating costs

  · High school diploma required

· Experience preferably in the RV, automotive, or motor sports industries in technical, leadership, administration

Physical Requirements:

· Office and shop environment with prolonged sitting, standing, walking, computer work

· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as necessary

· Operate in all types of indoor and outdoor work environments.
