You will
- Customize and maintain the operating system for the main autonomous vehicle compute platform
- Develop profiling tools and optimize performance of autonomy software
- Maintain auxiliary compute systems for non-critical components
- Implement precise hardware time synchronization for different sensors on board
- Profile and optimize middleware for throughput and latency
- Design and implement network architecture for the autonomous vehicle
- Collaborate with DevOps and configure base OS for efficient software deployment
- Streamline bringup process for new tractor builds
- Evaluate and select next-generation compute platforms for autonomous vehicles
You have
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proficient in debian based linux distributions
- Proficient with schedulers, profilers, PTP/NTP and Networking
- C/C++, shell scripting, ROS/ROS2
We prefer
- MS in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
- Experience with autonomous vehicle software stacks
- Realtime automotive OS - QNX, AUTOSAR
