What You’ll Do:
- Support daily store operations by running cash register and answering customer service inquiries
- Meet sales and donation goals in collaboration with your teammates
- Communicate the Goodwill Mission to customers, donors, and staff and explain how the Goodwill Store, Transportation Department, and Donation Center support the mission.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-friendly environment
- Assist with donation sorting, pricing and hanging
- Be a champion of our POS and Push Systems
- Rotate Sundays with the team.
- Deliver excellent service to customers and donors every day
- Help organize sales floor to meet the demands and specifications of the retail DGR (Donated Good retail) process.
- Follow protocol for all POS system, Push System, store sales, and donation centers.
- All other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
What You’ll Need:
- Retail experience, preferably in the thrift industry
- Solid communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand/move for long periods
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work a varied schedule and flexible hours Sunday through Saturday of each week.
