Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the front of house restaurant & bar teams as well as help in catering operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Responding efficiently and accurately to guest complaints.
Assist in the continuous training of servers, bartenders, and bussers to provide high quality service.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations with minimal supervision.
Ensure that the FOH restaurant and bar area is at all times in compliance with local and state codes in regard to sanitation, safety and work rules.
Supervise individual shifts, helping ensure that dining guests are served in a manner that meets the standards set by the hotel.
Supervise and staff in accordance with staffing guidelines and training manual. Adjust schedules throughout the week to meet business demands.
Be knowledgeable on the various types of drinks and food offerings that are available at the restaurant, as well as the activities and services in the surrounding areas (comp set).
Ensure completion of all department Daily/Weekly Checklists.
Provide timely feedback to staff on their performance.
Ensure staff are educated in the correct usage and care of all department equipment.
Inspect public areas for cleanliness daily and assign projects as needed.
Ensure all chemicals are correctly used, labeled, and stored,
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 yearsβ experience in Food and Beverage
