The vision of Clinical Health Network for Transformation (CHN) is to better fulfill the mission and promise of Planned Parenthood to bring high-quality, affordable care to every member of our communities. CHN is a collaboration between Planned Parenthood affiliates across the United States.

CHN is looking for individuals who are committed to supporting our shared goal of strengthening and enhancing our awareness and commitment to advancing the cause of health and race equity in our organization.

Reporting to the Access Operations Program Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the information technology processes of CHN. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies to meet the business needs of CHN and member affiliates.

Essential Functions

  • Communicates job expectations; plans, monitors, coaches, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains CHN’s efficiency by supporting strategic plans around implementing information technologies.
  • Analyzes organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
  • Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
  • Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
  • Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all CHN and affiliate policies, as well as all state and federal regulations.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to CHN and Planned Parenthood’s mission related to health equity, especially centering racial equity, and deep sense of accountability to community.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to learning about and enhancing practices related to racial equity and the impact of structural racism on healthcare systems.
  • Provides positive and development feedback and accountability related to practices including, but not limited to, equity.
  • Work and build trust across cultural differences.
  • Manage and mentor a culturally diverse team, including creating and sustaining an organizational culture that fosters inclusiveness and equity.

Qualifications and Experience (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Management or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work well and build trust with diverse teams, including across racial difference
  • Ability to flex communication style to multiple cultural environments
  • Project management experience is necessary for the position. Also, successfully completing certification courses in business analysis, PMP, or PRINCE II, PSM or Scrum experience is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in operating technological equipment, tools, and systems
  • Experience with providing IT solutions to address the business needs of an organization
  • Demonstrated dedication to Planned Parenthood’s mission, vision, and values

Qualifications and Experience (Preferred)

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
  • Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with customers and clients
  • Ability to work independently and with professional discretion
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent management and time-management skills

$78,201 - $117,301 a year

CHN believes in fair and equitable pay. Above is the pay range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, and business need.
