Position Overview

We are seeking an associate-level Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing of specialty metals (e.g., titanium, stainless steel, nickel alloys) from global suppliers. This is an individual contributor role with no managerial or supervisory responsibilities. This role ensures continuity of supply, cost optimization, and compliance with NEOTISS standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with operational goals.

 

This role requires on-site presence in Morristown, TN; relocation assistance is not available. Sponsorship for Work Authorization is not available for this position.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute international procurement strategies aligned with production schedules.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Monitor global metal pricing trends and conduct market analysis.
  • Forecast material needs and support new product development.
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate records in SAP and process purchase orders/invoices.
  • Support supplier audits and manage corrective actions.
  • Coordinate international shipments and customs clearance.
  • Prepare monthly procurement reports for financial review.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • 3+ years of international metals sourcing experience.
  • Strong understanding of raw material specs, Incoterms, and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and supplier quality systems.
  • Multilingual skills (French, Spanish, Chinese) are a plus.
