Manufacturing Engineer II

The Regulator Production Department is looking for motivated and dependable coworkers to join our newest department.  In this role you will develop and implement production processes necessary for the manufacture of our regulators to increase safety, reduce cost, and improve efficiency. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that safety is a priority.
• Develop and implement production processes necessary for the manufacture of new products.
• Utilize CREO 3D modeling software to generate concepts, final models, and production ready prints for manufacturing.
• Utilize AutoCad for 2D layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
• Support robotic technical development and the development of associated skills related to robotics across the organization.
• Research new and developing technologies relating to safety, robotics, and other manufacturing processes.
• Lead projects in the design, specification, installation, and startup of ergonomic, automation, and robotic projects.
• Apply statistical methods, lean manufacturing principles and perform product and process analysis for enhancing safety, quality, efficiency, reliability, ergonomics and throughput.

Required Qualifications, Education & Experience:

•  Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) required in mechanical, manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2 - 5 years related experience preferred.
