Job Summary

 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Systems Support Analyst to join our IT team. This position is responsible for specific, critical IT processes that affect the user base’s IT experience. Responsibilities include analyzing and troubleshooting PC, network, and application related issues. This includes IT Systems support ranging from all IT areas dealing with Desktops, Printers, I/O Devices, Windows OS, Office Applications, various desktop software, structured cabling, documentation, PLC equipment, and Lab instruments.  

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of each user and/or contractor from an IT perspective.
  • Configure and support the deployment of all IT assets to the company’s users and contractors.
  • Support the equipment lifecycle of each IT asset.
  • Deploy IT hardware to a global remote workforce in a timely manner.
  • Provide general IT support for requests via the service desk, walk-ups, direct email, etc.
  • Perform hands on or remote IT support.
  • Communicate with the end user throughout the lifecycle of the service or project request.
  • Communicate with peers and leadership on a daily basis.
  • Manage support from MSP’s and ISPs, where necessary.
  • Provide site system administration functions specified by the Director of Information Technology.
  • Provide site network administration functions specified by the Director of Information Technology.
  • Provide site application administration functions specified by the Director of Information Technology.
  • Perform daily IT administrative tasks required by IT leadership.
  • Provide daily updates to IT leadership as required.
  • Meet departmental and individual Key performance metrics.

 
Job Related Qualifications / Skills


Formal Education & Certification:

  • AS or BS degree in a computer science related field
  • Certifications a plus
  • If no degree, then A+ and Network + is required with relevant work experience of 5+ years

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in firmware installation, upgrades and patching
  • Experience in multiple Operating System environments (Windows, Linux, etc.)
  • Experience in installation of and the use of virus and endpoint protection technologies
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in IT troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience in Network Administration concepts
  • Experience in System Administration concepts
  • Experience in Active Directory User and Computer account creation and maintenance
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
