We're searching for a talented IT System Analyst to join our team.  This role will work with system users and developers to ensure systems are functioning to meet user and client expectations.  

Job Description

The IT System Analyst is responsible for planning, preparing, and executing tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements as well as analyzing and reporting test results.  The role identifies and eliminate bugs to ensure quality, client satisfaction, stability, integrity, and efficient operations of the infrastructure that supports core functions within the business. 

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities are to participate in quality assurance activities associated with software analysis.  This includes developing test plans, performing exploratory testing, and executing functional regression testing.  This role will develop detailed test plans, cases, and scripts that cover various scenarios and conditions for comprehensive testing in order to reduce the odds of product failure and improve risk management.

  • Simulate real-world usage conditions to identify defects or issues that could impact the user experience or system performance.
  • Work with project developers, business analysts and customer support teams to ensure software solutions meet user expectations.
  • Communicate the results of software testing efforts to stakeholders and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software testing methodologies and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), if necessary.
  • Ensure processes used within the team meet quality standards and champion the use of practices where appropriate.
  • Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects, and work with software developers and project support teams.

Qualifications

Essential Functions

  • Develop software test cases and environments based on consumer specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct thorough software testing, analyze data, write test cases and communicate with developers.
  • Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects, and work with software developers and project support teams.
  • Prepare test data that reflects real-world scenarios ensuring its availability, integrity, and relevance.
  • Record bugs, glitches, and other flaws in detail
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects found to identify and mitigate project risks.

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and customer support duties
  • Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize work, and adapt during pressured situations
  • Dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive outlook

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in similar environment
  • Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a contact center environment
