Credit Analyst

General Shale Brick is the legacy brand of General Shale established in 1928. The brand is available through nine production sites and 17 distribution centers across North America. The brand includes industry-renowned products including many popular colors and textures, which continue to be in high-demand for unique residential and commercial projects.

General Shale is seeking a Credit Analyst to work at our facility in Augusta, GA or Johnson City, TN

Responsibilities
• Credit investigation of new applications.
• Collection of customer accounts.
• Settlement of payment discrepancies.
• Filing of liens and credit reporting.
• Facilitate resolution of customer complaints and billing issues.
• Review orders for shipment based on account status.
• Adhere to approved credit limits and payment terms.
• Update and maintain credit files and credit limits.
• File notices on jobs as needed.
• Work with outside collection agencies as needed.

Position Requirements
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related curriculum, preferred.
• 5-10 years collections/credit experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and PC skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Proficiency with SAP, and customer service experience highly desirable.
