Assistant Project Manager / Estimator - Commercial Construction
Job Description
Overview
The Assistant Commercial Construction Project Manager / Estimator (“APM”) supports the Commercial Project Manager in estimation, and the oversight of many of the duties and tasks that must be accomplished relating to construction, renovation, or restructuring of a property. The APM must be organized and able to work with sub-contractors and other employees, particularly Commercial Superintendents. The position requires an understanding of each phase of the construction process, and must possess the ability to communicate with architects, clients, vendors, and employees. This position requires extensive experience in all areas of construction. The APM must also be able to multitask and help manage sub-contractors and staff on multiple project sites.
